Our first day in Gatineau was a true success. As this isn’t our first meeting and practice we have it dialled in on how to arrive with our mise en place and our attitudes in check. We enjoyed a slower paced morning than conventions passed with our mise completed and took our time organizing and sorting the fridge and cooler spaces that were allotted to use from the kitchen with which we are working out of in Gatineau at the Palais Des Congres.
Today we are heading to Montebello for a day of mise en place and to get ourselves ready for tomorrow nights Honour’s Society dinner that Chef Bruno is hosting to honour culinairans in Canada. After our day today we are returning to the Sheraton Four Points for the ice-breaker event that the Juniors are hosting for the conference.
